well bougth this car about 5weeks ago , had no interior or mot on it. it has just bin mot and full gsi interior put into it . lastest thing i have done to the car has bin stanard gsi alloys in a dark grey colour new 50mm lowering springs
car has senice passed mot and has bin taxed still more to do gsi skirts now fiited amd gsi steerig wheel
how much ya talkin to refurb and powder coat a set of alloys?
really depends mate, to sandblast the rims u cud b lookin around 15 2 20 quid per rim, if its original paint itl come off a gift, if theyve been powdercoated itl take longer, therfore the variation in price. as for painting them, same applies, if its a 15" rim, its 15 quid, if its a 17" rim, its 17 quid per rim, thats all colours except for starlight. Starlight is a clear laquer applied over black 2 give a glitter effect, on a dull day the rim wud look black, on a sunny day the rim wud sparkle with gold, purple, green glitter etc. u cud see the colour cards at work if u like? wer u from?
how much to powder coat a set of 14 inch rims lad, standard factory paint them
ud b lookin around 55 quid 2 powder coat them, between 15 2 20 quid 2 blast each rim. wot colour wud u b painting them? also if the centres are plastic u cant match the colour as we cant bake plastic at 180 degrees lol!!!
O ryt cheers mate...do these prices include filling in and sanding down curbed alloys as mine are pretty bad lol they havnt been powdered coated before and they are 17" rims...althu wudnt no weather to get them black white or just original colour again

usually wen u blast a set of rims, the shot will clean off a lot of the curb marks as it comes out at around 400 mph!! i had a set blasted and it cleaned em up pretty well. if in doubt, go round the rim with a grinder with a flap disc on it 2 take the rough off em then leave em in 2 get blasted! i had a set of white rims on my astra, look fookin class wen clean but they take a brave bit of upkeep 2 keep em lookin that way, especially hard wen they are multi spokes lol!!

at worst £80 4 blasting, and £17 per rim 2 paint so all in youd b lookin at around 150 quid, not bad considerin nu-luk r lookin £65 plus vat each rim!
the dark wheels look great!!
