Hi all, I have currently got a warped front disc brake so need to change the discs. Therefore taking this opportunity to upgrade from the standar discs & pads! Has anyone any experience of good/bad choice of aftermarket disc brakes. Mine is the 4-stud astra- 256mm diameter discs. I know there are a few different makes out there but have you heard any reviews?? Willing to spend a reasonable amount but can't afford not top market discs. Cheers!
I have looked at the EBC discs and am not overly impressed. They seem to be quite cheap which probably hints that they are not great quality. I like to make the most of the brakes so sont want discs made from cheap material that will warp again! Have you heard any reports about MINTEX discs? I'm not looking 'racing look-a-like' grooved or drilled discs, just high quality discs.
