TYRE pressure gauges should be included with every new car, motoring campaigners claim.
Having the device on board would make it easier for drivers to keep a regular eye on their rubber, according to Rob Beddis, from campaign group TyreSafe. He said: Were not talking about something fancy just a cheap one that could live in the boot with the locking wheelnut key and jack, he explained.
Beddis claims this would also enable motorists to check their tyres when cold the best time to get an accurate reading.
