After Months of Preparation, Sunday the 28th of September Arrived! The chosen venue, Carrickfergus Castle Carpark, was occupied by the ni-vaux team at around 7:30am to get setup for the show ahead! With the Carpark cordined off and the HQ setup the trade stands started to arrive! Autoglym, Nu Luk Wheels, VSH Mobile Valeting, Fast Snax to name but a few! With everything in place and the sun starting to break through, along came the Vauxhalls, and didnt they just keep on coming!!
By 12:30 we knew we were in for a full house, the response to all the hard work getting the show seen by the enthusiasts had paid off and brought great satisfaction!
Along with the crowds came generous donations by everyone, a small entry fee of £3 was turning into £5 and £10!! And with the sale of Ballot tickets and Tea & Coffee we were able to raise a Grand Total of £1550 to aid NI-ASBAH, a charity setup to help people who suffer from spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus get the most out of life! The reason behind the chosen charity was my little niece, who was diagnosed before birth with spina bifida, but things are looking up for Katie and this is only a small token I look forward to handing to the charity as they have helped my sister so so much.
And not only have they helped my family, but I want this to be a thank you to the men and women who help families all over Northern Ireland who have a member affected by Spina Bifida.
So a Big Thank You too, Paula (My Girlfriend who put the most work into the show), Nova T40d (For getting alot of sponsors), Farney, Astra_2006 & Ciara, SRi Turbo, Alan_M, Caroline & Chris, Gazza-83 & Ruth, Trevor & Lorraine Peoples and everyone else who helped make this happen! (hope i didnt forget about anyone!)
Thanks to the Sponsors, Norman McMullan Vauxhall Breakers Sion Mills, Ellis Autoparts, Meadow Cars, Nu Luk Wheels, NI Trucks, Pushing Ink, Clarion Hotel, Coast Road Hotel, Northgate Barbours, KarKraft, Autoglym, Pro Car.
And Biggest Thank You goes to everyone that came along and Supported us, because without you all, it just wouldnt have happened!
Looking Forward to seeing you all again at the next one!
